WINTER RATES 1st NOVEMBER - 31st MARCH 2025 **

Blakeney Point has become probably the most important breeding site for Grey Seals in the British Isles. Female Grey Seals deliver their pups late Autumn around mid November through December, with typically four to five thousand pups a visit to the breeding colony on the Point is one of the most exhilarating wildlife experiences anywhere in Britain and one not to be missed.

Don't forget to wrap up warm!

As seats are now very limited - to avoid disappointment we strongly advise you to book

** Due to how the MCA apply current regulations we are only able to carry a reduced number of passengers during the Winter Season, meaning a significant increase in our operating costs which we reluctantly need to reflect in a seasonal increase in ticket prices for the coming Winter.

  2. YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO EMBARK / DISEMBARK WITH SOME GENTLE ASSISTANCE FROM THE CREW
  3. PLEASE PAY ON THE DAY Card machine availability down to WiFi signal availability so please have an (exact) cash alternative.
  4. TOILETS AND CAFÉ are available on Morston Quay, facilities are limited so please allow extra time.
  5. THERE ARE CURRENTLY NO LANDINGS ON BLAKENEY POINT and all seal trips will last approx one hour
  6. PLEASE FOLLOW CREW INSTRUCTIONS – we reserve the right to refuse passage for anyone behaving in an anti-social manner

Departure times vary according to high tide times - our next trip times are displayed in the footer on each page of the website, for planning further ahead see our Timetable. Subject to demand and tide extra trips may be arranged so always check when booking.

Departure Details

Departures are from Morston Quay (see getting here for directions). You will receive details of departure point, time and where to collect your tickets when you book. All our boats are orange and white and leave from the landing stage marked “BEANS BOATS PLEASE WAIT HERE”. One of our crew, wearing an orange top, w on the quay to show you to your departure point.
